Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is a form of psychotherapy devised by Francine Shapiro in the 1980s that was originally designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Making the choice to make a change is scary and difficult; today you made the choice to make a shift. By incorporating my personal experience and my professionalism we are able to work together and create a person-centered plan of action with an array of modalities at your fingertips. I have experience working with children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults in multiple settings with an array of backgrounds and cultural components. My approach is nontraditional, and I shy away from “sugar-coating.” I am trained in EMDR and ABFT thus providing me the ability to serve both individuals and/or families. My goal during our time together is to support you in reaching your goals with mental health stability. -No Superbill is provided.
